This weekend has been really busy, and fun for our family. Its cooling down here and the kids have become really busy. Jessica was in a parade last weekend and again this weekend, and the color guard she is on competed in a competition, which they took 3 out of 10 in. She was really proud. Austin went on a 3.8 mile hike with his cub scout pack and had a blast. The kid has more energy than I could ever hope to imagine having.... he and some of the other boys actually ran the last mile of the hike so they could get to the lake and skip rocks while they waited for adults to catch up. We also watched conference and had our traditional food fest and we also watched a movie called "The Greatest Gift" it was totally awesome!! If your looking for a good movie to watch, this is one to pick.
Anyway, we are taking a trip to St. Louis this weekend and we are going to try out a couple of restaurants we saw on the food network channel. One of them actually throws rolls at you while you eat... fun!! .... I think.... It will be funny to see how my kids take it. Hopefully I will be able to snap some fun pictures to post. We love you!!!
